The Teddies
Well, this is why you're here, isn't it?
Here we have the Ugly Teddies themselves, a band of misfit stuffed animals that just didn’t fit anywhere else in society. The existance of the Ugly Teddies seems somehow to be a natural reaction to the existance of the more common, cute and cuddly plush animal. Not everyone likes the lovable and saccahrine, and morbid people need teddy bears, too.
There is no question that each Ugly Teddy is derived from a creature that once was normal, once was cute and prosiac. Some stuffed animals just get tired of being normal, of smiling vacantly 24 hours a day. So they stop smiling. Then they turn Ugly.
Each Teddy has his own story, his own unique personality … Most of them are actually quite friendly and lovable, despite appearances to the contrary. Others are not so friendly.
The Teddies are organized by category, partly to keep this page from getting too cluttered, and partly because I just get a kick out of putting things into categories -- like taxonomy.
