Many moons ago, an artist named K Holly began helping to facilitate the Ugly Teddies' transition from the Land of Imagination into the land of harsh, sordid reality. It's a labor of love -- a calling, really. Over a decade after their initial genesis, K has still been unable to let this stupid project go.
The Ugly Teddies are created sporadically. Such a thing as an Ugly Teddy cannot simply be conjured up from nothing. It must be there already, waiting to be discovered. Years may go be in between the discovery of one Teddy and another.
